Exceptional hospitality in Bari
Casa Calamondino felt like home the moment we arrived. Ruggiero's warmth and thoughtful gestures made our stay special, from the beautifully decorated room to a delicious breakfast that showcased local flavors.
However, be prepared for some noise during festivals. it can disrupt sleep. Although central, the vibrant atmosphere comes with its challenges, especially if you're not accustomed to late-night festivities.

The fried oysters at Antica Osteria were a revelation, bursting with flavor! Ruggiero made us feel like family with his warm hospitality, and the breakfast was made with so much love, you could taste it.
Not everything was perfect, but it all still shined brightly. Even with one mishap, Casa Calamondino holds top spots in my memory from our travels.

the staircase to the Deluxe Room is an absolute nightmare, and I simply couldn't believe there was no complimentary gesture for the trouble, such as an upgrade, considering how much I paid. the owner rudely yelled at us about a window latch, claiming it’s made in Germany, but seemingly forgot he was running a B&B and not a museum.

My stay at Casa Calamondino was wonderful. The location in Bari's old town made it easy to explore. Ruggiero, our host, was incredibly welcoming and provided great dining recommendations. The room was beautifully decorated, and breakfast featured fresh local produce.
